How Do We Care For Our Patients?
WHAT IS APPLIED KINESIOLOGY (AK)?
Applied Kinesiology (AK) is a safe and noninvasive diagnostic system using muscle testing as a tool for evaluating neurological function. The methodology focuses primarily on neuromuscular function as it relates to the structural, chemical and neurological regulatory systems in the body. Muscle testing assesses the impact of the nervous system on patient health, helping AK practitioners look for the source of disfunction in the balance of sensory system with the motor system

THE TRIAD OF HEALTH:

This is a model that represents 3 basic causes of health problems that as AK Chiropractic Doctors, we take into account as we treat and evaluate each and every patient specific to his/her needs. The 3 basic causes are: structure, chemical and mental. The foundation of this triangle is structure. One or more parts of the triad make up the health problem(s) an individual is experiencing.
The red bubbles circling the Triad of Health make up the five different factors that can result in muscle weakness. They are as follows: N - nerve (nutrition problems), NL - lymphatic imbalances, NV - vascular imbalances, CSF - cranial/sacral respiratory imbalances and AMC - acupuncture meridian imbalances.
We use various techniques through AK that we have studied extensively throughout each of our time at Logan College of Chiropractic. The doctors all have and continue to attend various AK seminars throughout their current practice, and following throughout his/her years of practicing.
We take great stride and pleasure in providing excellent healthcare to all our patients getting to the bottom or root cause of their health problem(s), allow us to treat the above factors.
